What time does the event start?

Registration opens at 8:00am and the Walk4Ability event starts at 9:00am.

How do I pay?

Go to the Registration section and follow the links to purchase a ticket online.

Do I have to register for a ticket even if I qualify for a free ticket?

Yes. We need all participants to register and sign the waiver for insurance purposes.

Can you buy tickets on the day?

We will have facilities to purchase tickets on the day.

Do I need to register my baby in a pram?

Yes for insurance purposes we require everyone that is participating to register and this includes babies.

What if I don’t make it? Can I get a refund?

Under the terms and conditions of the event there will be no refunds. Please consider this as a donation to the Walk4Ability Charities.

Will there be water available?

There will be water available to purchase. Proceeds will go to the Walk4Ability Charities.

Will there be disabled parking available?

Yes, there will be a number of disabled car parks available for participants.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there will be designated parking available on the day.

Will there be toilets?

Yes, there are toilets, including disabled toilets, within Kings Park.

Can I bring a pram/bike/scooter/skateboard along to the walk event and participate?

Yes, the path around Lake Burley Griffin is pram/bike/scooter/skateboard friendly.

Are Pets allowed?

Yes – dogs are allowed, as long as they are on a leash and start at the back of the field. Please remember, it is a child-friendly event and sensitive dogs should be left at home.

Who does the money go to?

The proceeds from the event go to the Walk4Ability Charities.

What will happen if it rains?

Please check back on the website on the day for further information as to whether the event will be going ahead if it is raining on the day. Please note there will not be refunds of ticket prices if the event is cancelled due to rain. Please consider your registration price a donation to the Walk4Ability Charities.
